Help and Advice
The Patients Association Helpline offers you a signposting service to independent information and advice on a range of healthcare issues. In addition to the publications we offer, you can also find answers to some of the frequently asked questions about health services at http://www.patients-association.org.uk/FAQS
PLEASE NOTE:
WE ARE UNABLE TO GIVE YOU CLINICAL ADVICE OR SECOND OPINION.
THIS IS A MATTER FOR YOUR DOCTORS.
PLEASE SEND US YOUR EXPERIENCES OF UK HEALTH SERVICES.
EACH PATIENT WHO CONTACTS US IN THIS WAY IS MAKING A MUCH-VALUED CONTRIBUTION TO OUR INFORMATION BASE FROM WHICH TO CAMPAIGN FOR IMPROVEMENTS. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE THE NAME OF THE HOSPITAL WHERE THE TREATMENT TOOK PLACE. THIS ALLOWS US TO DETECT PATTERNS OF CARE WHICH ARE CAUSING CONCERN AND REQUIRE ACTION.
